Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction: Yes, You Can Enjoy the Holidays, Again!

Not long ago, the holidays engulfed me like a glitter-laden tsunami.  I felt I had to plan the perfect feasts, find the right gifts, attend all the marvelous celebrations and wear the right outfits.  Those thoughts as well as many other crazy patterns in my psyche played themselves out with gusto.

By the time January came, I was sick, deflated, angry and lost.  (Not to mention broke.)

Opening my life to a mindfulness practice has helped me rediscover the many gems that the holidays can bring: moments of connection with people I love,  the luscious first bite of a big feast, watching the sun rise on a day I don’t have to get ready for work.  When I could fully experience the beauty in these moments, I began to enjoy the holidays again.

Miraculous events happen every day, but we are not always fully present to acknowledging them.  Would you like help appreciating them?

Join me and a group of other seekers for an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction class that will help you calm your mind, slow down the pace of your frenzied life, and finally enjoy holidays and family gatherings again.
